UPSSSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2023

UPSSSC Stenographer Recruitment Qualification Details

The necessary qualification for the aforementioned post candidate should pass a minimum of 

  • 12th/(10+2) Pass from any recognized Council/Board/Institute/University.
  • UPSSSC PET 2022 Score Card.
  • Hindi Typing: 25 WPM & Steno: 80 WPM
  • NIELIT CCC Exam Passed OR Equivalent Degree

UPSSSC Stenographer Recruitment 2023 Age Details

Applying candidates should not be less than 18 (Eighteen) years and not more than 40 (Forty) years old. Relaxation of the Upper age limit for OBC/Others category:- 3 Years and SC/ST category:- 5 Years.

Selection Process:

The selection process for UPSSSC Stenographer Post candidates will be selected after the following steps:

  • Preliminary Exam: 
    • The Preliminary Exam will be an objective-type exam with 100 questions.
    • The questions will be in the English and Hindi languages.
    • The exam will be of 1 hours duration.
    • The qualifying marks for the Preliminary Exam will be 60% for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • Mains Exam: 
    • The Mains Exam will be a descriptive-type exam with 3 papers.
