Eligibility Criteria:

• Nationality: Candidates must be ordinarily domiciled in the State of Assam.
• Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 50 years as of January 1, 2023 (candidates born on or after January 1, 1973).
• Educational Qualification:
  • For all posts: HSLC or equivalent.
  • Service Qualification:
    • Constable & Head Constable: Retired in the rank of Sepoy to Havildar in Army or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force.
    • Sub-Inspector & Inspector: Retired in the rank of Naib Subedar or above in Army or equivalent rank in Navy or Air Force.
    • Note: Ex-Servicemen who retired as Havildar or equivalent rank with 15 years or more of service can apply for the Sub-Inspector position instead of Constable/Head Constable, but not for both.
