Qualification
The necessary qualification for the aforementioned post candidate should be
- To apply for Lineman, Wireman, Carpenter, Painter (General), Welder (Gas and Electric), Sheet Metal Worker posts candidates should 8th class pass from a recognized School and the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT
- For others posts, candidates should pass a minimum of 10 Pass with 50% from any recognized Council/Board/Institute/University. Also, have a related Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Age Limit
Applying candidates should not be less than 15 (Fifteen) years and more than 24 (Twenty-Four) years. Relaxation of Upper age limit for OBC/Others category:- 3 Years and SC/ST category:- 5 Years.
Application Fee
To apply for the above-mentioned posts the General/OBC/Others category candidates have to pay Rs- 100/- and ST/SC/PWBD/Women category candidates have to pay Rs- 0/- (NIL) as an application fee.
Online application fee payment through the Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking, or E Challan.
Salary Details
Every applying candidate would like to know how much salary will be given after joining Railway Apprentice Training posts. The monthly salary during the 1st year of training is Rs. 7000.
Selection Process
The selection process for Eastern Railway Apprentice will be selected a merit list on the basis of details filled by the applicants.

- Select your Trade and Click on the Continue button.
- Fill up your all personal details of Name, Address, Education Qualification, ID Details, etc.
- Upload the necessary documents with Photo and Signature.
- Next, Fee payment. You can see on your screen the payment option.
- At the last stage, take a Print-out of the application form for future reference.
